Nephtali Couture is an African-inspired couture house based in Scotland, founded on the belief that clothing can be both cultural and transformative.

Each Nephtali garment is created as a statement — blending African heritage, modern elegance, and bespoke craftsmanship. The House designs for individuals who wish to express identity, presence, and emotion through clothing.

THE FOUNDER

Nephtali Couture was founded by Belocine Musolo, a French & Congolese designer whose work bridges African tradition and modern couture.

After moving to Scotland, Belocine was inspired to bring the vibrancy, storytelling, and elegance of African fashion into a new cultural context — creating a couture house that celebrates identity, craftsmanship, and emotional design.

Today, she continues to lead Nephtali as its Creative Director, personally overseeing each design, fitting, and couture commission.

Nephtali Couture creates a limited number of bespoke commissions each season while also developing signature collections, such as the Zaire Collection — the House’s first couture chapter.
